The Beer Spa

The name, The Beer Spa, grabbed my interest for a new adventure in Denver. Located at 3004 N Downing St, Denver, I made a reservation for a spa day with a friend to celebrate her birthday.

It was suggested that we arrive early, and I recommend that because it takes a while to check in and learn how it all works. There is a lot of beer on tap to pick from. I started with a kombucha and then moved on to a beer once we got started.

We had a 90-minute package, and the staff suggested we start with the infrared sauna for the first 20 minutes followed by a cool shower. We then sat in the beer tub until the timer automatically stopped the jets indicating our time was almost up. We skipped the zero-gravity massage chair because it was an extra charge. Maybe next time.

I am sensitive to jacuzzies that are too hot, but this one was a nice temperature that felt comfortable the whole time. We enjoyed more beer in the taproom and photo opportunities before departing.

Hours are 8:00am-10:30pm Monday-Sunday. Multiple packages are available. Learn more or make your booking at thebeerspa.com
