There are many Woodhouse Spa locations in Colorado. I chose the one on 941 East 17th Ave. in Denver because it was in an old, historic house built in 1886. I have a soft spot for old homes and love to see inside them, and I like to get massages, so this location was a fit for me.
I received a massage gift certificate from my kids for my birthday, and I scheduled the appointment on a quiet Sunday morning. As I arrived, I admired the stately Merritt House, a 10-bedroom Victorian home. The interior was charming and welcoming for my birthday treat.
After I settled into my robe and sandals, I waited in the quiet room and enjoyed fruit-infused water and a nut snack. I had a very professional massage and was happy with the overall experience of my time at Woodhouse. They also offer a variety of facial treatments and products.
