It’s Stock Show time! One of my favorite parts of this event is viewing the Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale. Located at 4665 Humboldt Street in the National Western Complex, a Red-Carpet Reception and Opening Gala for the Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale was held Tuesday January 3.

Brown Palace Hotel Tour

I have enjoyed walking around the Brown Palace Hotel on my own several times a year since I was a kid. My mom always took me there to see the holiday decorations in my youth. My dad loved the Ship Tavern restaurant, and we often had lunch there through the years. I particularly like visiting the elegant lobby during the holiday season.

I recently viewed the US debut of Flemish artworks – Saints, Sinners, Lovers, and Fools: 300 Years of Flemish Masterworks at the Denver Art Museum. The exhibit displays artists from the Southern Netherlands between the 15th and 17th centuries.
